![]() I'd think you're also note two more things about your run - you only fought in 8 battles! 8! Since you only fought in 8 battles, you only had 7 opportunities to get XP for your battle cards (as one's the final boss), or to draft more cards! Since you didn't battle at all, your battle deck was absolute garbage! It's how it works - more battles and more negotiations is better, not worse. Smith has both the highest damage output and the highest survivablity in battle, IMHO. Smith can also stack Power much better than any other character in the game. In the example, I have 20 moxie, and a bio-strike in hand, which would give me 24-30 more moxie if I used it. ![]() I'd show an example but imgur is not working for me. You can very, very, very easily get more than +30 health regenerated per turn in the later game. See, with Smith, you don't really have to defend. Honestly, Smith's got the most overpowered combat strategy. Or you could go a Prepared build that takes every card with "prepared" on it, which has the best defensive options, but mediocre damage.įor Red builds, you can go a discard build, though it's still spotty.įor either type of build, you want to get a card that will let you cheat out cards for cheap (like Drawback for Red, and Dead Draw for Green/weighted coin) Some tips I'd offer for Rook is that he (thankfully now) has combat cards that will give 8-10 defense at once, and picking whether you want to go Empty or Charged/Overcharged for your combat build and sticking with it.įor Negotiation, for green builds, there's a fairly common event where you meet a Kra'deshi named Krog who has a weighted coin, and you should take the weighted coin and then pick every card that says "If you get heads" because it's now guaranteed. Rook campaign is also difficult, you just get stat-checked by the monstrous boss on the day 2, and a lot of his cards are dependent on RNG.
